The Ultimate Salute To The OG’s: OOOG BRAND

“It’s Not Just a Brand, It’s a Lifestyle.”

OOOG Brand Founder and Creator, Street Lotto made no mistakes. His fashion stance, humble spirit, and business sense was just a small portion of why he is successful. With over 10 years of hard work and commitment, Street Lotto has branded himself as a supreme brand in the fashion and music industry.

Street Lotto completed projects with many icons such as Bone Crusher, Sommore, D.J. Toomp, Gary Owen, Legendary D.J. Dana (Production for Boyz of the Hood, Bad Boy South with Young Joc), Nappy Roots, 98 Degrees, Skinny Deville, Dash Dillinger (Dog Pound), Mistah Fab, Turf Talk, Jarvis (Soundtrack on “Random Encounters”) and many more.

His faith stabilized him; propelling his efforts above levels that have taken many more than a decade to reach. Born in Cincinnati, now residing in Atlanta, Lotto sought the opportunity to better himself and focus on a career in music, overcoming the obstacles of the drug trade in his native city. In support of one of his many projects, Street Lotto launched the OOOG Brand, a line of custom-made T-shirts and hoodies which has since become one of the fastest growing brands in urban fashion.

OOOG Brand has become the epitome of lifestyle fashion brands. From the urban scene to the golf course, OOOG Brand stands to accommodate all facets of today’s fashion scene with a clean, fresh look that compliments the latest trends.

In tradition, a “Triple OG” is someone who is recognized as having acquired wisdom through his or her struggles. But for Street Lotto, the name has come to represent something bigger.

“I looked at how perfectly the three O’s are intertwined and realized that those easily represent something much higher than myself.”

Lotto’s initial marketing efforts of social media and word of mouth have also evolved into more intense marketing strategies. Consumers just organically gravitate to the OOOG Brand. It’s not just fashionable pieces but the spirit of the brand that empowers consumers.

HTM: Tell us what ‘hood you’re from.
OOOG: I grew up most of my early days in Cincinnati, in the Avondale/Evanston communities. We lived around the corner from the Zoo. We grew up and played sports there, but my dad was from Evanston, so we played on his basketball team (4 Men). He was a coach for like 25 years, so we had a lot of brothers from there.

HTM: Who or what inspired you to start OOOG?
OOOG: I wasn’t really inspired to do it by anyone in particular. I’m a hustler. I’ve spent my entire adult life marketing myself. Same player, the game just changed. But I will say this … I’ve spent countless man hours just chopping it up with wealthy business people, innovators, and overall well-established people. I always ask them the same question. ‘How did you get here?’ 10 times out of 10, it’s the same answer. ‘Well I was just doing this, then all of the sudden, this (their golden opportunity) came along, now here I am.’ … My point is, your greatest blessing is in your purpose. Just stay the course …

HTM: How did OOOG Brand get started?
OOOG: I put a mock of the T-shirt on my website with my music and blasted it out to everyone. One of my guys saw the shirt and ordered one in every color. I was no stranger to the tee hustle, so I charged him $100 for 5 tees and used the profit to buy more. I posted a pic on social media about a guy buying 5 of these tees. The rest is why we’re here now

HTM: Why the name ‘OOOG Brand?
OOOG: It started out as a song I wrote. The song was called Triple OG. Just a song about the principles of the game from my point of view. So when I got the mix back, it was labeled OOOG. I thought that was a dope way to say it. I made up T-shirts to promote the song. The tees caught on. I ain’t been rappin’since. Over time, I learned that OOOG was not only a blessing, but a platform to use my voice in a more constructive manor. It was soon revealed to me that OOOG was an acronym for the Omnipotent Opportunities Of God. #KeepLivin

HTM: What do you want people to get out of OOOG?

HTM: What’s next for OOOG?
OOOG: Television. We are releasing True Story 2.0 very soon. It’s the second season to the docu-series that we released exclusive to our OOOG Brand Facebook fan page last Thanksgiving. Movies. We are starting to get various movie placements, which is a blessing. Major Department stores across the world. Things are coming together. God is GREAT!
